smile, laughter, and positivity as she "yells" at you through the screen. For me, I respond well to this type of trainer.  It makes my workouts fun and really gets me to push myself when I feel like stopping. I started following Lilly's programs back in September.  At first, I found the workouts VERY challenging.  The sweat, pouring off me as I did burpee after burpee. Wow! It was tough, but Lilly's energy kept me going

This past summer I stumbled upon a YouTube recommendation on my Home page.  The video was from Linda Sun, a new YouTube creator who focuses her channel on her, and her families, fitness and wellness journey.  At over 700K subscribers, Linda's videos include reviews of fitness influencer workouts, fun recipes, and her own journey in self acceptance. Linda's video on working out and eating like the most popular fitness YouTubers was a great overview of several workout programs.  It lead me to one of her favorite and highest rated programs....Lean With Lilly!

Fitness influencer, Lilly Sabri, is a physiotherapist turned YouTube sensation, offers free weekly programs through her Lean website. These weekly programs go along with the hundreds of videos she has uploaded onto her YouTube channel.  Lilly's energy and enthusiasm motivates me so much! Her

and kept me coming back for more!  Pretty soon, the workouts weren't as taxing and instead gave me a huge sense of accomplishment that boosted my confidence and made me feel great.

After completing a few of the two week workout programs, I invested in a few of the Lean resistance bands sold on the Lean With Lilly website.  These fabric bands are so much better than the rubber exercise bands I've used in the past. They significantly add to the workout routines and bring on the fire in my muscles. I use them almost everyday and have even given them as gifts!

Lilly also has an Anti-Inflammatory online cookbook. I purchased it during one of her sales and have made

I am no longer one who focuses on what the scale says, I instead base my progress on how my clothes fit, my muscle tone, and on an old school fabric tape measure! Since consistently following Lean With Lilly plans I have seen a huge difference in my muscle definition. My arms are more defined, my thighs are toned, and my butt has miraculously lifted! I even bought a few modern bikinis that I feel comfortable in for the first time since I was in my twenties!

If you are looking for a great workout program and want a major sweat...I highly recommend Lilly Sabri.  As you can see in some of these photos...the burn is real! Speaking of burn...if you try one of Lilly's arm workouts feel your shoulders after. Serious fire! Everyday I am motivated to get my workouts done and sometimes post accomplishments on my Instagram account.  I've tried some new recipes that both Jim and I have enjoyed. Ooh...try out Lilly's granola recipe here..I love it!  I am so thankful for Linda Sun's video on fitness influencers and glad it popped up on my YouTube recommendations. Like so many countless others, Linda helped me discover Lilly Sabri's videos and vibrant personality. Linda had such an impact adding to Lilly's followers that they even did a weekly workout program together which is fantastic! Check it out if you want some major bum and thigh burn. You can also join Lean With Lilly Guides Facebook group if you want to engage more with the Lean with Lilly community.  Through her Facebook group you can interact with other fitness followers, help hold each other accountable, and offer feedback on new products and programs Lilly is thinking about.

If you do take a stab at one of Lilly's many workouts let me know what you think!

Bring on the Burn!

quite a few recipes from it. Below are some pictures of some of the recipes I've followed, the tuna pasta bake and chickpea burger.  Super yummy!  One other favorite is her recipe for homemade hummus, a great go-to for a snack or on the side with a nice piece of roasted chicken.

After following the Lean With Lilly weekly programs for about six months, I decided to give her longer 8 week plan a try.  The purchased plan comes with warm ups, finishers, and daily workout videos to follow each week.  The download also includes a glossary of the exercises and some journaling ideas you may want to do.  The plan is easy to follow and you can go at your own pace if you need extra rest days. If you want to try out one of Lilly's plans, her 8 week program is a great one to jump in, however, some of the cardio can be pretty intense so make sure to go at a pace that pushes you, but is manageable. In most of Lilly's videos, modifications are included in the upper left hand side of the screen.  I enjoyed the 8 week program, but found a greater burn from the one to two week programs you can get for free by signing up for her newsletter on the Lean website.  For me, I also enjoy mixing up my workout programs and those lasting longer than 4 weeks sometimes take a bit more of motivation on my part to keep going.
